• I'm so happy you've stopped by my blog! I hope you'll stay for a few minutes, take a look around, relax with a cold, bubbly beverage...

These days, I'm no longer working with clients. (What the future will bring, I cannot say!) You'll find me now at home, playing with my kids; and likely taking pictures of them, too!

{Hugs} and a huge thank you to the clients who have been so supportive over the years! I will miss shooting for you.

2010 Holiday Photo Card Designs

’tis the season to be jolly….

Photo cards Christmas Card Custom Designs 2010 multi-photo card designs

Let me just apologize straight off for continuing to post about December holidays — including Christmas;)— in, um, September.  I plead necessity — unlike strands of lights and ornaments which are appearing, inexplicably, in department and grocery stores (and the Christmas store that just reopened Tyson’s Corner?!?!), I’m posting now because the reality is that if you want family photos appearing on your Christmas card this year, it is time and past time to make those plans.

Today I am showing a few more samples of Holiday Cards available this year.  The photos are mine; the card designs I’ve purchased online (let me know if you want more information about the designers!).  Text and, in some cases, colors are customizable; this tweaking is included in the pricing (contact for pricing, too).

The 5×5 tri-fold:  the tri-fold cards are really popular because they can hold multiple photos without getting that “crowded” look.  The next photo card, as well as the one above, are my two favorites in the tri-fold category.  I love the pastels with the black and white above, though I’m also a big fan of color, and love this next card:

Sometimes I feel like my personality is split down the middle.  When I tested the waters with potential designs to offer this year, most people had a distinct preference between the cleaner, modern look of the above cards and the “scrapbooky” designs below.  But I love them both equally!

The colors/layout of this first card feels so welcoming to me.  If you don’t celebrate Christmas, or prefer a more generic “Peace, Love, Joy” message, it’s easy to remove the text about Christmas.

This next card is so unique, because it allows you to give a quick little update about family members in addition to the photos — maybe you can save yourself the trouble of writing a little newsletter to accompany your holiday card.  ;)

Have a new baby, but don’t want to send out separate birth announcements?  (Or never got around to sending out birth announcements?  ;) ).  Or other exciting news to annouce (here, I’ve featured an engagement session)?  This is the perfect card for you, though it definitely has a Christian Christmas bent with the text:  Behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy. Luke 2:10.

I invite you to “friend” me on Facebook to see the rest of the collection, and stay up to date about happenings over here with Photography By Danie.  ;)

Finding it a little forced to think about the holidays when the weather forecast is calling for 90s later this week?  Yeah, me too.

Thanks so much for your kind words. I love your work as well!
I wish I was better at candid shots like you are.
