Well, I feel I must disclose — Kimmie is actually the sister-in-law of my best friend, who happens to live fairly close to DC. Still, they made a bit of a drive to get into the city — at which point we both missed the parking lot where we were going to meet, and shall I just say, the Tidal Basin is very very large when you’re carrying a few cameras, extra lenses, and trying to find a family traveling with a baby and a dog?! Luckily, we had allotted lots of time, and we were still able to have a nice, relaxed shoot, from which I’ve chosen a few of my favorites. Loved hanging out with you guys, Kimmie!
