These days, I'm no longer working with clients. (What the future will bring, I cannot say!) You'll find me now at home, playing with my kids; and likely taking pictures of them, too!

Friday’s For Family | Goofy in the mud with the dog ;)

On an unusually sunny day in the middle of January — several days after I took the pictures of my daughter, posted last week, in case you’re interested in that level of detail! — we set out for Wood Acres Park here in Bethesda, MD. It’s one of our favorite “little outings”, and we were much relieved to enjoy the outdoors without coats. Of course, it was incredibly muddy, and while we made our son walk home (with us!) rather than get in the car afterwards, Goofy-boy had a marvelous time jumping, sliding, even rolling in the mud. Sammie, our little cockapoo, was having a pretty great time, too — at least when Goofy wasn’t tormenting her! It’s surprisingly hard to get pictures of my son with a real genuine smile — he tends to get very serious when I have my camera out — so these are extra-special to me!
